100% Chardonnay

Vintage Conditions:

In 2008, above average rainfall and moderate temperatures
in the lead-up to vintage provided a good start to the growinrg season
While warmer temperatures in January pushed white varieties

to early ripeness,good aromatic characters,
structure and freshness were retained

Winemaking:

Partial barrel fermentation,subsequent oak maturation
and lees-stirring have imparted subtle layers of complexity
to complement good varietal fruit characters

Colour:

Pale gold with light green tinges

Nose:

Ripe white peach and rock melon
with roasted cashews and light vanillin hints

Palate:

Medium-bodied with good fruit depth and texture

Alc/Vol – 14% pH – 3.34 TA – 7.2 g/L
