70%  Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Shiraz, 5% Petit Verdot


Vintage Conditions:

The 2007 vintage was one of the earliest on record, with low yields
and an abundance of sunshine
 
As a result, fruit ripened quickly and evenly, with good varietal definition

Deep purple hues


Winemaking:

 Produced in traditional open pot fermenters
and matured in French oak barriques for 20 months –
an elegantly structured wine with medium to long term cellaring potential

Nose: 

Cassis, black olives, earthiness with coffee/dark chocolate oak


Palate:

Ripe berry flavours, firm tannins and a good acid balance
with a clean, lingering finish
