Vintage Conditions:

The 2007 vintage was one of the earliest on record, with low yields
and an abundance of sunshine
 
As a result, fruit ripened quickly and evenly, with good varietal definition

  Colour:

 

  Deep purple with purple/violet hues

Winemaking:

Produced in traditional open pot fermenters and
matured in French and American oak barriques
for 20 months

Nose: 

Spice, plums and licorice with hints of vanilla


Palate:

Plum, licorice and spice flavours, mouth-filling, dusty tannins
and a pleasantly persistent finish

Alc/Vol – 15.5%     pH – 3.48     TA – 6.75 g/lt
