Composition:

55% Semillon 45% Sauvignon Blanc

Vintage Conditions:

In 2008, above average rainfall and moderate temperatures
in the lead-up to vintage provided a good start to the growing season. 
While warmer temperatures in January
pushed white varieties to ripeness early,
good aromatic characters, structure and freshness were retained. 

Winemaking:

A slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel proceeded blending and early bottling to preserve fresh aromatic characters.

Colour:

Light straw with green tinges

Nose:

Passion-fruit and ripe melon with grassy hints

Palate:

Grapefruit and honeydew melon flavours with a crisp, clean finish.

Wine Analysis:

Alc/vol - 13%     pH - 3.34    TA - 7.2 g/L
