Composition:

60%  Cabernet Sauvignon 40% Merlot

Vintage Conditions:

The 2005 growing season was mild and dry, allowing for an even ripening period. 
Red fruit developed well with good concentration of colour and tannin
at a lower level of sugar ripeness.  As a result, Cabernet based wines
are elegant and well structured with great colour and varietal characters.

Winemaking:

Fermented in traditional open pot tanks
and matured in French oak barriques
for 18 months.

Colour:

Medium to deep purple hues

Nose:

Dark cherry and cassis with hints of vanilla.

Palate:

Berry fruit flavours and soft, dusty tannins

Alc/Vol - 13.7%     pH - 3.40     TA - 6.7 g/lt
